Terms of purchase
These terms apply when you buy on this website. We have written them to be understood. If anything is unclear, write to us before paying at hola@elultimoadios.app.
The essentials
- You pay once: the plaque, the memorial with no expiry date and a year of talking to them in their voice, counted from the day their voice is ready. After that, if you’d like to keep talking to them, it’s €9.99 a month. If not, the voice is paused and everything else stays. We never charge you anything without asking you first.
- “Talk with their voice” costs €249. “Memories only”, without their voice, costs €99. VAT and delivery within Spain are included.
- An artificial intelligence answers in their voice, based on what the family has told it. It can get things wrong.
- We don’t engrave the plaque until you confirm the details. Until then you can cancel and we refund everything.
- If we ever closed, we would tell you months in advance and you could download everything.
1. Who sells to you

2. What you buy
There are two options. Both include their stainless steel QR plaque and their memorial, with their photos, their story and their voice notes, with no expiry date.
- Talk with their voice · €249. The plaque, the memorial, and being able to talk to them and hear them answer in their voice, with the first year included. That year starts on the day their voice is ready, not on the day you pay. It’s for family use: up to about 300 answers in their voice a month. If you reach that in a month, you can keep reading their answers and their voice comes back the following month.
- Memories only · €99. The plaque and the memorial, without talking to them in their voice.

What “no expiry date” means. The memorial has no fees and no end date: their photos, their story and their voice notes stay even if you stop the voice. No internet service can guarantee it will last indefinitely, so we commit to two things. Whoever manages the memorial can download all of it as a ZIP file at any time, from the family area. And if El Último Adiós ever had to close, we would email you months in advance so you could download everything. The plaque is yours to keep either way.
Where the QR code will go. When you order you choose the format, at the same price: an 8 × 8 cm plaque for the headstone, niche or columbarium; a thin 5 × 5 cm adhesive plaque for the urn, which fits even if it’s curved; or, if the ashes were scattered, an A4 frame (black, natural wood or white) with their printed photo and, beside it, a 6 × 6 cm plaque with the QR code. All of them are engraved stainless steel. For the frame we use the photo you choose as the memorial’s portrait; if it isn’t good enough to print, we’ll tell you before making it. You can change the format as long as we haven’t engraved it yet.
3. Price and payment
Prices include VAT and delivery of the plaque, urn plaque or frame to any address in Spain. You pay once, when you order, through Stripe: by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or other methods shown on the payment page. We never see or store your card details. If you have a discount code, you enter it on that same page. You will receive the receipt and invoice by email.
With “Talk with their voice”, you pay once: the plaque, the memorial with no expiry date and a year of talking to them in their voice, counted from the day their voice is ready. 4. Delivery
- Within two working days of payment we will write to you to prepare the memorial together.
- We engrave the plaque or urn plaque with the final QR code, or make the frame with their photo, only once you confirm the details (name, dates, text and, for the frame, the photo). We send it to the address you give us. The maximum period for delivering the piece and activating the memorial is 30 days from payment. If for any reason we couldn’t meet it, we would tell you and you could cancel with a full refund.
- Their voice is prepared from the recordings you send us: one to three minutes of their voice, where they can be heard clearly (a WhatsApp voice note will do). First, whoever manages the memorial signs the permission to create their voice. Once we have the recordings and the permission, we prepare their voice in about two working days, and the included year starts on that day. If there isn’t enough audio, we’ll tell you and you can switch to “Memories only” with the difference refunded (€150).
5. The voice after the first year
When the included year ends, nothing is charged automatically. Before the year ends we’ll write to you; if you’d like to carry on, it’s €9.99 a month. If you don’t reply or would rather not carry on, the voice is paused and everything else stays: the plaque, their photos, their story and their voice notes.
If you decide to carry on, there’s no minimum term: you can stop whenever you like by writing to hola@elultimoadios.app.
6. Right of withdrawal
You have 14 calendar days from purchase to withdraw without giving any reason, and we will refund everything you paid within 14 days at most, using the same payment method.
The plaque, the urn plaque and the frame with their photo are made-to-order products: they are engraved with the details of a specific person. For that reason, under article 103(c) of the Spanish consumer protection law (Ley General para la Defensa de los Consumidores y Usuarios), once you confirm the details and we start engraving it, the piece can no longer be returned. We never engrave it without your confirmation, and until you give it you may cancel and receive a 100% refund. If you withdraw after the piece has been engraved, we refund the part corresponding to the digital service not yet provided.

7. Guarantee
The plaque, the urn plaque and the frame carry the three-year legal guarantee for lack of conformity. In addition, if over time the plaque deteriorates or the code stops scanning, we replace it.
8. Memorial content and the conversation
Whoever orders declares that they are a close relative of the person, the person themselves during their lifetime, or authorised by the family, and that they have the right to use the photos, videos and recordings they upload. Any close relative may ask for a piece of content or the memorial to be removed.
Their voice is only created if whoever manages the memorial first signs an explicit permission in the family area. That permission can be withdrawn at any time; when it is, we delete the replica of their voice.
Who answers. An artificial intelligence answers in their voice, based on what the family has told it. The answers are written by an artificial intelligence program and their voice is a synthetic voice made from their recordings. We say so clearly, and also in the memorial, next to the conversation, as required by Article 50 of the EU Artificial Intelligence Act (Regulation (EU) 2024/1689).
It can get things wrong. It is designed to say it doesn’t remember something rather than make it up, but it may sometimes mix up a detail or say something the person would not have said. The family can correct and add to their memories whenever they like. Its answers are not medical, legal or any other kind of advice. If someone writes to it in a moment of great distress, it encourages them to talk to someone they trust that same day and to call 024 (Spain’s suicide prevention line) or 112 in an emergency; it is not a substitute for that help.
How it may be used. Talking to them is reserved for the people the family invites, for family use. It may not be used to impersonate the person to others or to share their answers as if they had really said them.
Storage. “Memories only” allows up to 150 photos, videos and audio files (2 GB in total). “Talk with their voice” has no limit on photos and videos for normal family use; if a memorial needed a lot of space, we would talk before limiting anything.
9. Complaints
For any complaint, write to hola@elultimoadios.app and we will reply within ten days at most. Official complaint forms are available on request at the same address. You may also contact the consumer services of your region.
10. Governing law
The contract is governed by Spanish law. If you are a consumer, you may bring a claim before the courts of your place of residence.
